Medical Qigong Theory
Medical Qigong Therapy is open to all health care professionals, those interested in energetic medicine, and students of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Golden Dragon Arts (GDA) offers a multi-level certification program designed to teach the theory and practical application of Medical Qigong Therapy.
GDA programs emphasize the analytical/deductive and intuitive approaches to comprehending and utilizing Medical Qigong Therapy for cultivation, regulation, and clinical application.
GDA offers advanced training in Medical Qigong Theory and Practice to our students. Medical Qigong training courses are held once a year and cover a wide variety of topics ranging from internal alchemy, meridians, acupressure points, advanced awareness in diagnostics, sinew channels, extraordinary vessels, and an understanding of the subtle bio-mechanics of posture, and more.

Medical Qigong Therapy
Medical Qigong is one of the oldest energy and physical healing treatment protocols. Medical Qigong Treatments are a great stand-alone or adjunct to any healing system or practice.

Medical Qigong Remote Treatments There is no time or distance in energy therapy. Medical Qigong has been teaching this art for thousands of years. Enjoy relaxing waves of energy and attunement. Treatment includes an energetic recommendation for improvement.
A Medical Qigong Session includes mild acupressure, sometimes gentle massage, energy healing of the internal organs & prescription Qigong exercises.
Your first Medical Qigong Session includes:
Evaluation: Taking into consideration the physical, emotional, and energetic conditions of the client the therapist will formulate a treatment plan. Based on the package you purchase this will either be an oral report at the end of your treatment or a full-on written report with body mind spirit recommendations. The therapist has multiple ways of picking up troubled areas or energy stagnation and the psychological, physical and other problems at their root.
Treatment: Energy (heat, light, sound) can pass through air and clothing, so there is no need to disrobe. Treatments include energy healing and diagnosis of each organ system and overall body condition, light touching and acupressure on hands and feet, and massage when needed. The client may feel varying sensations as the energy moves, such as warmth, tingling, coolness, vibration, and twitching as the stagnant energy releases.
Prescriptions: After the treatment, the client will be given Qigong prescription exercises and affirmations to assist in their ongoing healing (if you purchase the Health and Vitality Program or the Body, Mind and Spirit Program ). These Medical Qigong exercises and meditations are tailored specifically to the clients, similar to an acupuncturist prescribing healing herbs or a medical doctor giving a pharmaceutical prescription.
